He Comes Back

Zoey's POV

I was outside sitting in my porch swing with a cup of cocoa in my hand, sipping on it and feeling confused. I wasn't sure if I could keep myself from giving in to Jackson. It was becoming harder and harder everytime I saw him, to not just grab him and drag him upstairs to my bedroom.

As I was sitting there lost in my own thoughts someone walked up to me and took my hand without realizing who it was. It snapped me back to reality and I looked up at him. "Fuck, Harley?" My heart clenched and I slapped him.

"What the fuck was that for, Zoey?" I narrowed my eyes at him. "You damn well know what it was for. You were fucking her in OUR bed you bastard."

"But you know I always came back to you. I love you, Zoe." I clenched my fists. "You best be leaving, Harley."

He rolled his eyes. "I dropped that name. I went back to Liam."

"What's your point?" I shook my head. "Nevermind, you need to leave!" I pointed toward the driveway where his Harley set. Nothing ever changes with him.

He moved closer to me, making me very uncomfortable. I scooted across the swing and got up backing away from him. "Y-Y-You just stay away from me, Liam."

"Oh come on, babe. You know you still love me." He smirked and leaned against the banister.

Liam's POV

"NO, that's where you're wrong, Liam. I want NOTHING to do with you." She always did put up a good fight. I love that about her. But I would have her in the end, I was determined. When I am determined, I get what I want. Always.

I laughed. "Of course, you do." I crossed my arms and watched how nervous she was around me.

"Get off my property, Liam. NOW!" She pointed toward her driveway again. I got to thinking and shrugged. "Fine, Zoey. But the sooner you realize you're meant to be with me the better off everyone will be, including your little boy toy, Jackson." I knew that would get her.

Her eyes got wide. "What do you mean? What'd you do?" I could hear the worry in her voice. "Nothing, yet."

I turned and walked off her porch with a smirk, knowing she would be thinking of what I might do to Jackson. I got on my Harley and rode off.

Zoey's POV

I slide down the banister to sit on the porch my legs no longer capable of holding me up. How had he found me? Hell, how had Jackson found me? Something wasn't right about this. I had to figure things out. I had to talk to Jackson and let him know Liam was back.

I got the strength to get up, pulling myself up by the banister and made my way inside to get my keys.

I slipped my shoes on and ran out to my car, driving over to Jackson's house. I practically jumped out of my car tripping over a stone on the sidewalk and tumbling to the ground with a thud. Jackson came bounding out of his house at the sound of the commotion. "Zoey, are you alright? Why in such a hurry?" Tears sprang to my eyes as I stood up and he took my hand helping me into his house. "No, I'm not ok." I sobbed.

He brushed my hair out of my face. "What's wrong? Anything I can do to help?" He sounded sincerely worried. Which made everything even worse.

"Not really, it's Liam. He found me and is refusing to give me up." I sighed, my tears still coming in a steady stream. He sat me down on the couch and pulled me into his arms. I wasn't sure what to tell him, all I knew was it felt good to be in his arms again. "Jackson?" I looked up at him.

His face was inches from mine. "What is it, Zoey?" I reached up and kissed him. It felt like I had a million little electric currents in my lips. "He told me he would hurt you if I didn't choose him. I'm worried." He put his hand on the side of my face. "Nobody is going to hurt me if you don't choose them, I promise." Slowly he leaned down and claimed my mouth with his, kissing me ever so gently.
