Jackson's POV
I was greatful that she was so happy about her surprise. I stood there quietly for a moment before saying anything to her.
I leaned down and whispered in her ear, letting my breathe flow over her earlobe. "Do you like your surprise, baby?"
Her whole body shivered. I knew the effect I had on her and it made me smirk.
"Yes, I love it. When do we get to ride them?" She asked excited and practically bouncing on her heels. I laughed, "Whenever you're ready."
"I am soooo ready." She smiled turning to me and putting her arms around my neck, kissing me passionately. I returned her kiss with just as much passion. Then pulled back, taking her hands down and holding onto one as we made our way over ot the gate. "Let's go for that ride." I winked helping her onto her horse then throwing my leg over my own and climbing on it.
Zoey's POV
We started off into the woods and right off we saw a fawn. I had never saw one up close before. It was amazing.
After about an hour we stopped to have a picnic lunch and let the horses drink from the stream in front of us, sitting there eating I looked over at Jackson. "What are you up to, anyway?"
"What do you mean? I'm just trying to be me. Show you how much I love you."
I smiled. "So you're really trying?"
"Of course." He leaned back on his arms looking out over the water. "Look over there." He said out of nowhere. I followed the direction of his finger with my eyes and saw the most beautiful eagle sitting there perched on a rock.
"Why wouldn't I be?" He asked curiously. I bit my lip nervous now. "Uh...I don't know. I was just wondering was all." I blushed.
He pulled me over to him and wrapped his arms around me. I was happy with Jackson. I'm just scared he'll do something to hurt me yet again.
We layed there chatting most of the day watching all the wildlife come and go. A few other people passed by on horses. When the sun started going down we decided we should probably get back so we packed everything from the picnic back up and rode the horses back to the stable, thanking the owners. Then getting back in the truck and driving back home.
It had been a wonderful day out with Jackson. When we got back I invited him in for dinner.
